Waldo7Labs wasn't named after a marketing concept. It was named after my Grandpa, Waldo Chesnut.
He spent his entire life working with his hands as a mechanic and a farmer in the hills of Berne-Knox, NY. He believed in good, honest work, keeping a focus on our local community, and always making sure the job was done exactly right.
A Foundation
of Faith.
Above everything else, Grandpa Waldo was a follower of God. His faith wasn't something he kept separate from daily life. It was the very center of it.
He built his family the same way he built everything else: with purpose, care, and God as the foundation. Faith wasn't something he practiced on Sundays alone; it was lived out every single day in the way he treated people, raised his children, and showed up for his neighbors.

His priority was clear and unwavering. Every choice began with God and flowed into protecting and nurturing his family.

The Bible wasn't decoration. It was instruction. He measured success by the calling placed on his life.

He didn't just provide for his family. He shaped who they would become. His children and grandchildren carry that spirit forward.

Some of my favorite memories are spending time with him learning how things worked. From wrenching on our old go-kart to riding on his trusted John Deere tractor.
Today, the medium has changed from steel and engines to code and servers. But the methodology remains untouched. When we dive into complex architectures, we're applying the exact same mechanical mindset he taught me.
