Straight answers
Is a giveaway legal?
A sweepstakes in the US needs a free way to enter, clear official rules and no purchase required to win. The wheel is built that way, and each round gets rules from a template. This is not legal advice: you confirm your own rules for your state.
Who pays for the prizes?
You do, with your own products or store credit. Credit is never cash. The software sends the prize codes for you.
How long does it take to set up?
It depends on how much is branded and wired in. Your proposal says what is in it and when it goes live.
Do I have to run the draws?
No. Rounds open, close and draw on their own, winners are checked and codes go out automatically. You get a monthly summary and can step in from the admin screen, but never have to.
Can people cheat?
Entries need a confirmed email, duplicates are caught, and fraud and bot blocking runs on its own. You can remove anyone from the admin screen.
What happens if I cancel the hosted plan?
It is month to month. If you cancel, I move it into your own accounts and you pay your hosting and email directly.
